Books Articles For Writers By Gordon Kirkland
Gordon Kirkland's Writer's Address Books
Gordon often tells writers that they might be the greatest writer in the world, but if they don't tell anyone about it, they will never be successful.
Gordon applied his background in business, marketing, and strategic planning to his writing career. One key element was the need for good contact management information.
Over the years, he has collected over 30,000 contacts that relate to his writing career. He has collected many of them into four e-books he calls The Writer's Address Books:
- Volume 1 - Daily & Community Newspapers
- Volume 2 - Bookstores
- Volume 3 - Talk Radio Stations
- Volume 4 - All Format Radio & TV Stations
The books include the company names, addresses, telephone and fax numbers, and websites (where available.) No individual contact names are included, because he has found that directories including that information are generally out of date before they are published due to employee changes. The information allows the user to easily identify who the key staff contacts are in any of the companies listed. The information is sorted by US states and Canadian provinces.
O n Mar ch 1, 2007, the decision was made to significantly reduce the price on this collection of e-books. They may be purchased individually or as a complete set for even greater savings.
